Little Stars Preschool is the result of a close friendship and shared passion between Corey and Kathy. They met in 2006 when their children were in the same kindergarten class and quickly established a strong bond. In 2011, they founded Big Star Studios, recognizing the growing need for performing arts in the Snoqualmie Valley area.
However, Corey had always dreamed of opening a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool. With a background in Human and Child Development and a master's degree in Education, she was well-equipped to create an exceptional learning environment for young children. In 2017, Little Stars Preschool became a reality when they moved into a new space and built two beautiful Reggio Emilia-inspired classrooms.
The program at Little Stars Preschool focuses on child-led, play-based learning that allows each student to explore their creativity, build self-confidence, and develop independence. The dedicated team of nine teachers and two support staff ensures that every child receives personalized attention and support.
Little Stars Preschool goes beyond simply preparing children for kindergarten. Students also learn valuable team-building skills, form lasting friendships, and experience positive role models. The preschool offers a nurturing and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and create lasting memories.
To get a firsthand look at the program's impact, visitors are encouraged to observe a class. Little Stars Preschool is committed to providing an enriching educational experience that prepares children for success in school and beyond.
